Hospitable alternative: keep your account or delegate it
Looking for a Hospitable alternative starts with a practical question: do you want different software, or a different way to operate the software? CoHostBnB’s Autonomous paths still use Hospitable. Moving to them is not a way to remove that dependency.
Keep the PMS account, or delegate its operation?
| Decision | Hospitable directly | CoHostBnB path |
|---|---|---|
| Account relationship | You subscribe to and operate the PMS. | BYO connects your existing Hospitable account through OAuth; you keep its bill. Managed places that account with CoHostBnB. |
| Sending guest messages | Hospitable offers automated messaging and AI features. | Assisted drafts private notes for you to send. Autonomous tiers support two-way auto-send through Hospitable. |
| What changes when you switch? | Your workflows remain in the PMS you operate. | BYO retains your vendor relationship; managed changes account responsibility. Confirm permissions, exports and handoff before switching. |
Price the extra layer honestly
As of October 2026, Hospitable’s published subscription-pricing help page listed Essentials at $0, Host at $29/month, Professional at $59/month and Mogul at $99/month in USD. Hospitable pricing source. Paid plans include 1, 2 and 3 active properties respectively; extra active properties are $10, $15 and $30, and Host supports at most two properties.
CoHostBnB Autonomous-BYO is max($39, $12 per property, 14% of booking revenue), plus your separate Hospitable subscription. Autonomous-managed is max($79, $29 per property, 14% of booking revenue); its property floor is re-derived monthly from the Hospitable invoice. At $4,000 monthly booking revenue and two properties, either software formula produces $560 before the separate BYO PMS bill. That is not a savings claim.
When staying with Hospitable makes sense
If the goal is channel synchronization, a unified inbox and automation that you configure yourself, evaluate Hospitable directly first. Its published tiers already include substantial automation. If your bottleneck is reviewing every reply, compare the draft-only Assisted workflow with auto-send. If your bottleneck is local repairs or physical turnovers, neither a PMS subscription nor autonomous messaging alone defines an on-site service agreement.
Check service availability before choosing
CoHostBnB is a founder-led hospitality team. Managed service depends on the verified property location: GREEN permits percentage-based Co-Host Pro subject to qualification and local coverage; YELLOW uses fixed monthly Co-Host Assist with limited administrative tasks and owner publishing; RED is software only. An unknown location does not establish eligibility. These managed-service categories are separate from the Assisted software subscription.
A software connection does not override those restrictions. The host stays payee; listing and price changes require owner approval. Use the managed co-hosting availability check before treating a percentage estimate as an available offer.
