How we show up in host communities
CoHostBnB is a small team. When we take part in host forums, subreddits and groups, these are the rules we hold ourselves to. If you see a post from us that breaks one, tell us at [email protected] and we will take it down.
The rules we post under
- Answer first. A reply has to be useful to someone who never clicks a link: the steps, the numbers, the rule.
- One link per thread, at most, and only when it is the most useful next step (for example a city permit page or the fee calculator).
- Say who we are. Every post from a team member says they work on CoHostBnB. No anonymous praise, no sock-puppet accounts, no paid reviews.
- Real people only. Posts come from a named person on our team, never from an automated account. Our AI drafts guest replies for hosts; it does not post in communities.
- Follow each community’s rules, including self-promotion limits, even where they are stricter than ours.
- No mass posting. We do not copy the same answer across threads or groups.
Where to find us
We do not run official social media accounts yet. When we open one, it will be listed here and in our site footer, and nowhere else. Until then, any account using the CoHostBnB name is not ours. For questions about the software, see the FAQ; for managed co-hosting in the Bay Area, see managed co-hosting.
