CoHostBnB vs Guesty: approval, autonomy and service scope
Choose the control model before comparing the invoice. A reply drafted for approval, a message automatically sent through a PMS and a human responding to a property problem are three different deliverables.
Who presses send, and who handles the exception?
Guesty’s pricing and feature page describes an inbox with AI-assisted drafting and automation workflows; Guest Communication Services is listed separately as an add-on. That matters when evaluating a bundle: software automation does not by itself establish the scope of human intervention.
CoHostBnB Assisted never auto-sends. Its $19 monthly base includes three properties and 500 drafts, with extra properties at $5/month; at 1,000 drafts drafting pauses. Autonomous-BYO and Autonomous-managed support two-way auto-send through Hospitable. If you need to retain Guesty, verify the exact supported integration and plan before purchasing; the onboarding BYO contract specifically names Hospitable.
Compare equivalent scopes
| Decision | Guesty question | CoHostBnB fact |
|---|---|---|
| Approval | Which workflows draft messages and which send automatically? | Assisted requires you to send; Autonomous uses two-way auto-send. |
| Human service | Is Guest Communication Services included in your offer? | Managed co-hosting is separate from the software tiers and location-gated. |
| Financial model | Does the quote include every required add-on? | Autonomous software uses a 14% revenue term with monthly/property floors; it is not simply $39 or $79 plus a percentage. |
| Owner control | Which account permissions and approval settings will you configure? | Managed-service listing and price changes require owner approval; host stays payee. |
Published price versus complete cost
As of October 2026, Guesty’s published pricing page listed Lite from $9/listing/month, Pro by quote and Enterprise by customized offer. Guesty pricing source. Obtain the exact billing term and add-ons for a meaningful total.
For CoHostBnB, use max($39, $12 per property, 14% of booking revenue) for BYO plus its separate Hospitable bill; managed uses max($79, $29 per property, 14% of booking revenue), with the property floor recalculated monthly. A higher-revenue month increases the revenue term even with the same property count.
Check service availability before choosing
CoHostBnB is a founder-led hospitality team. Managed service depends on the verified property location: GREEN permits percentage-based Co-Host Pro subject to qualification and local coverage; YELLOW uses fixed monthly Co-Host Assist with limited administrative tasks and owner publishing; RED is software only. An unknown location does not establish eligibility. These managed-service categories are separate from the Assisted software subscription.
A software connection does not override those restrictions. The host stays payee; listing and price changes require owner approval. Use the managed co-hosting availability check before treating a percentage estimate as an available offer.
