CoHostBnB buyer resources
How to Airbnb co-host?
Build a clear division of work before taking responsibility for a listing.
Agree the scope
Write down who handles guest replies, arrival problems, turnovers, supplies and maintenance. Give each task one responsible person and a backup. Record the owner approval threshold for refunds and spending.
Set up access
Ask the listing owner to invite you as a co-host using platform permissions. Use your own account. Agree what you can change and how access will be removed when the work ends.
Rehearse a stay
Walk through an arrival, a late checkout and a cleaning delay. Check that the owner and local responder can reach one another. Keep the property instructions and escalation contacts current.
Review the handover
After the first stays, compare the actual tasks with the agreement. Document missed handoffs and update the checklist. A platform invitation is access to tools; the service agreement still needs to define responsibilities.
