How to add an Airbnb co-host
Invite the co-host through the listing’s co-host settings and choose access deliberately. Sharing your password is not a substitute for an invitation.
- Open your listing in Airbnb and locate the Co-hosts settings.
- Choose the invitation option and enter the person’s requested contact details.
- Select permissions that match the work you agreed, review the invitation and send it.
- Have the recipient accept, then confirm the permitted tasks together. Review access when the arrangement ends.
Menu wording and available permissions can change. Follow Airbnb’s current invitation instructions if your account looks different. An invitation does not by itself settle compensation, local authorization or who responds to an emergency.
Before granting broad access, document spending approvals, listing changes and who may send guest messages. For managed assistance, check property-state availability.
