Do I need an Airbnb co-host?

Use your recurring workload and coverage gaps to decide what help is worth delegating.

Audit a typical stay

Write down time spent on replies, check-in coordination, cleaning, supplies and follow-up. Include the tasks that interrupt other work even if they take only a few minutes.

Find the actual gap

If you have a reliable local team but miss guest messages, remote assistance may fit. If inspections, turnovers and supplier coordination are also falling behind, compare a broader service scope.

Estimate using your own revenue

Multiply the agreed revenue basis by the service percentage, then list cleaning, repairs and other separate costs. Compare the result with the time and coverage you gain; do not treat it as a promise of higher occupancy.

Keep responsibility visible

Delegate specific work and name the backup for each task. Keep access controls and owner approvals clear. Revisit the agreement after a trial period using actual handoff results.
