Airbnb co-host vs property manager: cost compared
Compare the tasks and fee base in the agreement before comparing a percentage. A co-host arrangement can be limited to guest communication; a property management agreement may cover broader physical operations and financial administration.
Build a like-for-like quote
| Cost question | What to establish |
|---|---|
| Fee base | Gross booking value, accommodation payout, or a fixed monthly amount? |
| Additional charges | Setup, minimum fees, cleaning, callouts, software and maintenance markups. |
| Responsibility | Who attends emergencies, approves repairs and handles guest complaints? |
| Exit | Notice period, account access and transfer of records. |
Use your actual quote in the calculator. A lower service fee can leave more work with the owner. A larger fee does not prove local coverage or legal authority.
Managed co-hosting vs a property manager
CoHostBnB separates software from managed service and checks property-state availability. The host remains payee. Verify the eligible scope, approval responsibilities and local support before signing. The managed offer describes the available operating model; it does not replace the property-specific agreement.
